“you must be proximate to people to recalibrate the pendulum that oscillates inconsistently between retributive and restorative justice.”

sojourner

“I am a sojourner on the earth…” - Psalm 119:19

I am

a proud daughter;

a sister of four amazing siblings who share a similar story of faith, hope and love;

a blessed aunt of three;

a first-generation Haitian-American, born and raised in the Sunshine State;

an alumna of the illustrious Spelman College and the Harvard Graduate School of Education;

an educator by love who believes in the transformative and liberating power of education;

a social engineer who seeks to effectuate change at the nexus of education and justice;

an aspiring attorney and appellate judge who believes in second chances.

Above It All, i am

a sojourner with an allotted time to proclaim God’s glory and prepare for the Groom.

Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.
